Cailyn Kerekes
Violin • Viola • Cello
Cailyn Kerekes has a Bachelor degree in Music and teaches K-5 music at New River Elementary School.
Her performance experience includes three years as concertmaster of the Palm Harbor University High School orchestra, two years of attending the Fine Arts Summer Academy in Nashville, TN, one year with the Pinellas Youth Symphony, and three semesters with the Southeastern University Chamber Orchestra. In addition, she has played viola for four semesters with the SEU Chamber Orchestra.
In addition to leading summer string workshops at Creative Keys, she has taught private lessons for several years to students of all ages, and has participated in multiple field study and voluntary teaching experiences within both Polk and Pinellas counties.
Her passion is to inspire students of all ages to discover the joy of music and to have fun in the process!
