TAMPA Piano Lessons

Our piano lessons teach a variety of styles from classical to popular music and everything in between. Whatever your favorite style of music, our teachers are happy to help you become the pianist you want to be. Using award-winning methods, beginner students will learn how to navigate their way around the keyboard while learning proper technique, note reading, rhythm, dynamics and expression, music theory, and so much more. Intermediate to advanced students will continue to learn new skills while enjoying repertoire of their choice.

Ages 5 to Adult (age 4 on trial basis).

We teach all styles, from rock, pop and jazz to country, blues and classical.

Our piano lessons instructors have achieved degrees (Bachelor to Master) from a variety of colleges and universities such as Eastman School of Music, University of Tampa, State University of New York, Carson Newman University, and University of South Florida, to name a few. They bring many years of professional performance and teaching experience to your piano lessons.

Our instructors are dedicated to helping you become the pianist you want to be. They will show you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique, rhythm, and theory, and incorporate your favorite songs into your piano lessons as your skills develop. Teachers use comprehensive methods from a variety of publishers to help beginners learn and practice the basics.

No. Beginners are welcome!

While a piano is ultimately best, you do not need to have a piano at home to take lessons. A touch-sensitive keyboard with a minimum of 61 keys can suffice for the first 6 months, with a goal of upgrading to an acoustic piano or digital piano with 88 weighted keys and pedals. We are happy to assist with recommendations on brands and models upon request.

Absolutely! We host more performance opportunities than any other school in the area. Each year we offer a variety of performances, including in-house performance parties, outdoor recitals at R.E. Olds Park amphitheater, outreach concerts at assisted living facilities, online showcases, and more. There are no participation fees for students and admission is free, so you can invite your family and friends without having to pay for tickets.

Our piano lessons instructors are warm and friendly, and get to know each student and parent on a personal level. Teachers work with each individual or parent to craft a lesson plan that fits the student’s unique needs and favorite type of music. Whether you’re playing in local bands, a seven year old taking their first lesson, or a fifty year old returning to the piano after many years, our teachers will share their love for the piano and help you set goals to achieve your musical aspirations.
