Private Music Lessons: Learning to play an instrument is a fun and rewarding activity for all ages and levels! Whether you already know how to play but want to refresh your skills or you are a complete beginner, Creative Keys instructors are ready to help you achieve your musical goals. We have a wonderful group of over 20 highly qualified, friendly teachers who know how to make learning a fun, positive experience. Private lessons are available on piano, guitar, bass, violin, viola, cello, ukulele, mandolin, voice (singing), drums/percussion, flute, sax, clarinet, oboe, trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, and euphonium.

Teaching Studios

Our 9 teaching studios at Creative Keys are outfitted with everything you may need for your private music lessons. Rooms are supplied with acoustic and digital pianos, amps, a full drum kit (electric), high quality Manhasset music stands, mirrors (helpful for voice students) air purifiers with HEPA filters and UV-C light, and more. All you need to bring is your instrument (except for piano and drum students). Each room has a security camera as part of our family safety plan and family members are more than welcome to sit in on the lessons or watch the lesson via Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime (just let the office or your teacher know your preference). Family members can also enjoy our comfortable and spacious lobby with Wifi, a children’s play area, and plenty of seating.

Performance Opportunities

At Creative Keys Music School, we feel it is very important to give our students multiple performance opportunities each year. Performing frequently gives students confidence, increases motivation, and helps with qualities such as goal setting, determination, perseverance, and self-expression. Performances are free of charge and optional for students and their families.

Examples of performance opportunities include Performance Parties in the Creative Keys lobby, performing for residents at assisted living communities, enjoying a stage experience at outdoor venues such as R.E. Olds Park in Oldsmar, virtual showcases, recitals at local indoor venues, and more.
