Amelia Leitschuh, from Hudson, Florida, is a trombonist and music educator based in the Tampa Bay area. She has been playing the trombone for over 10 years, beginning with middle school band and growing her passion for music ever since by participating in music ensembles throughout Pasco and Hillsborough counties.

Amelia has studied music education at the University of Tampa, and in her time there participated as principal chair in the Wind Ensemble, lead trombone in the Jazz Ensemble, and a performer with the “Spartan Brass” Quintet. She also served as President of the National Honorary Band Fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi. Amelia has performed with community ensembles in the area such as the Tampa Bay Pride Band and Symphonic Winds.

Amelia has worked with and taught brass students ranging from beginner to high school throughout Hillsborough county since 2020. In her spare time, Amelia enjoys baking and spending time with her gray tabby cat, Percy.
