Odalis Marrero

Odalis Marrero is an enthusiastic music teacher, pianist, and cellist who started in the musical arts environment at 6 years old. After completing her Associate studies in 2013 at National Music School in Havana, Cuba, she then finished her Bachelor degree in Music in 2017 at Superior Institute of Arts.
Cello and Piano have been her focus during all her years of music study. Over the years, Ms. Marrero honed her skills as a soloist as well as being part of chamber ensembles and orchestras. Ms. Marrero was a member of the Cuba National Orchestra and Mozarteum Lyceum Orchestra performing as a cellist around the world (Germany, Colombia, United States).
Along with performing, teaching became Odalis’s passion. Building strong relationships with children, adults and families, sharing, playing and performing with students are highly inspirational for her and her students. Ms Odalis has experience teaching both individual and group lessons (Piano, Cello, Theory, Chamber music) to students of all ages and levels. She provides engaging lesson plans, including music theory, and is skilled at assisting students in preparing for auditions and performances. Ensuring that students enjoy their lessons while making progress on their instrument is her main focus.
Ms. Odalis believes a life in music is a life beautifully spent.
