Welcome to the CK Family!
Siri Gundersen
Piano • Violin
Siri Gundersen is a highly seasoned music educator with a genuine love for people and a sincere enthusiasm for music. Coming from a harmonious family, Siri had experienced the piano and some singing. She was formally introduced to the instruments through the public school system in Brandon, FL where she grew up. The years flew by as music became the focal point of her life. With the support of her loving family, she made the decision to study music education at the University of South Florida. This is where she would later graduate with honors and earn her degree in 2011.
Over the course of her time at USF, she was able to begin teaching private piano & violin lessons. She also participated as 1st violinist in her string quartet where she played for weddings and other events. In 2009, Siri was accepted as a student for the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in Burlington, Vermont. Although she didn’t study vocals, Siri auditioned and became a singer with The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay in 2010 with whom she sang for 7 years.
After dabbling in other sorts of musical teaching environments such as classroom teaching, and orchestral directing, she felt confident that private teaching was where her heart was and where she thrived. With 14 years of one-on-one piano & violin instruction, Siri demonstrates patience, kindness, and creativity. Through her dedicated effort to know her students, she personalizes her lessons so that each student learns with a smile on their face.
